This week we have created our preliminary video, this task was to create a short video of an interview to get us into the roles of filming and putting our knowledge about camera angles and shots into action. We learnt from this that being in front of the camera can make you feel quite awkward and it is hard to get the filming wrong.
Also, we filmed and edited the lip syncing video. For this we had to come together as a group and choose a song to sing over. For this we chose XO Tour Life by Lil Uzi Vert. I felt that this task was very hard as none of us were able to take it serious and it ended up taking very long to do. However, the editing part was much easier and we all chipped in and we had used the software (iMovie) before.
As well as that we re created the music video Mens Needs by The Cribs. This task has been my favourite so far, as it was very hands on, as we had to make a story board to follow for the camera man, we needed to find the right outfits and props and then we got behind the camera and filmed. It was a long day as we kept making mistakes but we got it right in the end.
